I'm just having a bit of network problems. One of our neighbors' wifi is interfering with ours. My boyfriend has a linksys adapter so he doesn't see much of a difference. I used to simply move my adapter around until I got the signal back and never really wondered what was the problem. My airport card being inside the casing and my computer weighting over 20 lbs, moving around is not an option. Moving the router helped a bit but we'll have to tweak our settings.
One problem is that my CanoScan 4200F is not Mac compatible. I've checked Vuescan and it doesn't support my scanner model either. I've considered installing Bootcamp to run Windows XP so I can use it but it's a lot of trouble for nothing. My scanner is on its last leg anyway; it's been having mechanical problems and doing way more noise than it's supposed too... So my solution is to install it on my boyfriend's PC and tough it out until it dies. Once dead, I'll spend the bucks on a new one. Leaves me time to do a bit of research and maybe purchase one that will last longer than 2 years.
Despite the few rearrangements needed, this is one of the best computers I've owned so far. Super quiet, super fast, super easy to use. I've got CS4 and WoW installed, up next is Painter.
